The group's mastery of their musical instruments and the outstanding arrangements are to be applauded. The Third Chimpanzee is the third ep by British Musician and Depeche Mode Member Martin Gore, It was released on January 29, 2021.   A well done, though the slightly sundry collection of Gore's solo work .  It's been a great ride and love Martin's music.  who is the brain behind Depeche Mode. With his  presence alone, he can conquer the world.  Nearly all their albums seem to have an instrumental track on them. This extended  play  musical recording  is short. but is definitely Gore at his experimental  eerie  finest. Written in global pandemic lockdown, It  effervescences  with reverb and distortion throughout the entire record. God's Trashmen Sent to Right the Mess is the debut full-length album by Belgium Jazz Group Fievel Is Glauque, It was released on January 1, 2020.  One of the most exciting releases so far this year.  This record  plays out like memorabilia of fascinating bossa nova jazz elements and pop ideas, coating these songs with flavors of lounge, jazz, indie rock, and bedroom pop.  the low-fidelity sensibilities of this album are perfect, and each song's production is done rather flawlessly. the vocals and lyrics are impeccable as well.  Abundantly rich in aesthetic, and  yet it comes off feeling lighthearted and organic. the  complexity of the melody theme and the tempos vary greatly, which keeps you on your toes, a highly original, highly catchy, urban feeling rainy night jazz relaxed  ambiance. also, remind me of  Serge Gainsbourg, Stan Getz, Jane Birkin & Francoise Hardy,     I highly recommend this album if you enjoy bossa nova,...

Distrito Federal is the sixth studio full-length album by Mexican Electronic Musician  Mexican Institute of Sound, It was released on February 5, 2021.  I developed an interest in Mexican electronic music and a couple months ago,   I have mixed feelings about the Distrito Federal. Let me divide my impressions into two distinctly different parts. First, I really enjoy the music. Camilo Lara (aka, the Mexican Institute of Sound) presents an array of 10 tracks representing a variety of different  cumbia  and traditional styles. He's a gifted electronic composer, without question. He grafts together snippets of all sorts of things and mixes them with a bunch of strange electronic sounds and interesting rhythms. The end result is some very catchy songs and pleasant listening. It's very interesting music, like nothing you've ever heard before, and it has a certain hard-to-define sense of humor. The Seven Foot Tall Post-Suicidal Feel Good Blues is a brand new mini lp album by British  Band Nancy, It was released on January 15, 2021, Nancy blends together electronic  enthusiasm, hysterical misfits like rupture of rock energy, and they're most sullen to create an eerie experimental glam psychedelic rock sound, and with nancy diverse vocals channeling Stu from king gizzard in some tracks, also the singer has a strong baritone singing voice,  how stellar of an album this is. This, however, is not a critique of the album itself,     I must say I was completely blown away from the first listen, It is different sounding.  The tracks grow on you after the immediately liked clic clac track  ,  No bad tracks on this superb rock album. the opening  self-titled  track has an MGMT TRex glam indie rock vibe,  I like that distortion, subversion of what sounds like a long lost glam classic. I rate this album 10/10....

Painting The Roses is the second full-length studio album by Californian Duo Midnight Star. It was released on January 15, 2021.  Midnight Sister, multi-disciplinary LA artists Juliana Giraffe and Ari Balouzian make motion pictures. Yes, sometimes with moving images but most often only with the music, they create together.   'Painting the Roses' is a story told through the looking glass, one where we examine ourselves in a funhouse mirror but find clarity in its twists. Giraffe traveled to visit family in Argentina during the making of the album and reconnected greatly with that part of her family history, art, and culture.   a  subtly baroque pop mixture of art pop with amazing arrangements, It  has a slow, sweltering surf-tango to it, like Dick Dale doing Carlos Gardel. Welfare Jazz is the second full-length studio album by   Swedish Post-Punk Band,  Viagra Boys.  Viagra Boys have made a name for themselves playing stages around the world.  The entire band works together to make the whole greater than the sum. I can't remember when I liked a sax player this much, sounds different than anyone else.  I can't get enough of this album. In fact, I've been trying to tie each tune to an influence.    So far I'm sure about Nick Cave, Mark Sandman, Bill Callahan, Iggy Pop, Jon Spencer; but there a few others I'm trying to pinpoint.   This is the album Iggy Pop wishes he made.  Their  notched  and  bizarre eccentric  approach to the rock genre balances dark  hilarity  and  abrupt unpredicted   sensation  with the kind of  menacing  edge that is sadly  misplaced  from  the majority of music  nowadays .
