Album Review: Weyes Blood Titanic Rising

Titanic Rising is the fourth studio album by musician Weyes Blood, released on April 5, 2019, by Sub Pop, Weyes Blood released the first single called "Andromeda". Natalie’s alto is so soothing and accurate and lends itself to both 90s new age and classic 70s style, This is so exciting and refreshing to hear. Beautiful harmonies, honest stunning, and very moving. Tinges of the Carpenters are all over this amazing record, sweeping strings arrangements add to the drama along with plenty of sorrow, this record will improve your mood and your day, Titanic Rising album is fantastic and I've listened to it multiple times, and it gets better every time. The vocals are strong, soft, subtle, and elegantly complex all at once. The way that she uses her voice is truly masterful and creates a wonderful interplay with the ever-changing instrumental tapestry of each song, I highly recommend this record, Weyes Bood is influenced by Karen Carpenter, Enya, Laura Nyro & Joni Mitchell & George Harrison, I rate this album 10/10
