In Standard Definition is the second studio full-length album by American glam rock band Art D'Ecco, it was released on April 23, 2021,  Glam rock certainly feels like it should have a massive revival movement happening any day now. We've already got plenty of artists revitalizing soft rock and neo-disco to show for the era, after all. I found this really nice but otherwise forgettable–aside from I Am The Dancefloor, which feels like the title of a song that should have existed decades ago, and it's really good,  There's nothing wrong with making a glam-rock record in 2021. Making the altar of Bowie and Bolan sound brilliant . This is a genre of excitement and bombast.   Bowie, T-Rex with a new romantic flavor and h as a very timeless vintage feel but feels modern too. In Standard Definition is possibly going to be far too  eerie  an album for some  audience , but those that are curious about what d’Ecco has to offer should definitely go on this  ...

Fate in Seven Lessons is the third studio full-length album by American synthpop darkwave band Cold Cave,  It was released on June 11, 2021.  this is Cold Cave's version of Power, Corruption & Lies, and the New Order comparisons don't stop there, with the second track "Night Light" sounding very much like New Order's "Temptation" (even though that was a single released prior and did not appear on the album). the gorgeous album cover evokes Peter Saville's beautifully rendered cover from 1983. Mutator is a new p osthumous solo album by Suicide Alan Vega, recorded between 1996 and 1998, it was released on April 23, 2021.  Alan Vega was a free spirit, a kind of massive creativity, unrestricted from the late 1950s to the years as part of Suicide, and until his death in 2016, at 78, he was always composing. That process resulted in a lot of material that did not see the light, and which became known as "the Vega Vault".  Vega was characterized by being very prolific, many of his works were recorded even without prospects of being published one day. "Mutator" will be the first album. in a series of unreleased releases of files written and recorded by Alan Vega himself. Soon after, they mixed and produced the songs with his friend Jared Artaud, Vega's confidante. Magic Mirror is the second studio full-length album by American singer Pearl Charles, It was released on January 15, 2021.  I've waited for so long for this type of 70s vibe to make a resurgence in music and it's been poppin' off in the past few years. Love this album. Love her singing voice. I hear hints of Christine Mcvee, Karen Carpenter, Linda Ronstadt, Carly Simon, and even some ABBA. throughout the record, she serves up 37 minutes of reflections on love, loss, and personal growth. Upon hearing this record I definitely thought of albums like Rumors by Fleetwood Mac & Arrivals by Abba, She does a great job of nailing that 1970s vibe with precision. While the music is dreamy,  an excellent album, but it would be even better if there was more songs in the same  ambiance  of the first track. I've seen some comparisons or people describing her music genre as disco country, she's not shy about showing off her influences, and you know you can definitely feel that...

Mommy Don't Spank Me is a brand new  compilation album by American Indie rock band The Drums, It was released on April 2, 2021.  However, The Drums did not disappoint in exposing this record, the alternate versions of songs such as 'Money,' 'Let's Go Surfing,' and 'Days.' While each remix is distinctive , the general resonance of this album has taken a much more dim subdued and lo-fi sound as compared to their more upbeat and eccentric sounding music from their early albums. t he track that especially sparkled on this album had to have been 'When I Come Home.' Not only is this song has an honest message in its vulnerable lyrics, something to relate too. but rather kindly surprised for a new album to throw on in any setting for this upcoming summer season.   An album of change and exploration, it has turned into a musical compilation master piece.   Very interested to see where The Drums head after this, whether they continue to experiment or st...
