Album Review: Matthew Tavares & Leland Whitty -Visions

Visions is a brand new jazz collaborative record from co-founder, BadBadNotGood keyboardist Matthew Tavares, and his former BadBadNotGood Bandmate Saxophonist Leland Whitty. It was released on March 20, 2020. It's an incredible album, It has beautiful warm avant- grade jazz dynamic arrangments, Your not sure what you are about to get next. This certainly makes this album a pleasure to listen to because every track becomes a different scene, a unique moment, and can satisfy a variety of moods. Easily one of the best albums I've listened to in a long time and also their creativity in putting these wonderful pieces together. I got some sweet Miles Davis and John Coltrane vibes from this album, If you are looking for something different and are interested in Jazz with an experimental twist you definitely need to check these guys out, I highly recommend it and I rate this album 10/10.
