Album Review: Childish Gambino - 3.15.20

3.15.20 is the fourth studio album by American rapper Donald Glover, under his stage name Childish Gambino, It was released on March 22, 2020. His music soars and lifts. From the first track to the last it tells a coherent story and sets an entire mood. At times he channels Prince and Often has an 80’s timeless groove, I listen to this record like five times because I wasn't really feeling it at first, but there's a good amount of songs that I really enjoyed. It's an okay album definitely not Gambino's best work, it could have been better. I rate this album 7/10.

Monument is the third full-length studio album by Belarusian post-punk band Molchat Doma. it was released on November 13, 2020. It was recorded in their hometown of Minsk, Belarus in the midst of the Covid-19 global   pandemic which caused the cancelation of their 2020 tour. I love how each song in this has its own memorable tune to it and it's just a beautiful experience listening to it.  and you can just tell how much effort and passion there is in them. It stands at the intersection of post-punk, new-wave, and synth-pop. Daddy's Home is the sixth studio full-length album by American artist St. Vincent, it was released on May 14, 2021.  Daddy’s Home  may lack the more exhilarating, guitar-shredding moments of some of Clark’s earlier work, but it’s possibly her best, most considered modern album to date.  Daddy’s Home feels like a complex yet real moment for St. Vincent. Consistently captivating, it gazes into the future but through an authentic homage to the alt-funk and psychedelic soul of the 1970's.  The lived -in, sleazy shimmer, fiery Wurlitzer and crescendos, melodies that take up rent in your mind for days on end, lyrics that personally bring us in to reflect and relate it's all a testament to St Vincent's well-realised artistic vision and musical chops.
