Album Review: Lana Del Rey- Chemtrails over the Country Club

Chemtrails over the Country Club is the seventh full-length studio album by American Indie pop singer Lana Del Rey, It was released on March 19, 2021. The album was postponed because of vinyl record production setback due to the coronavirus pandemic. Back in 2012 when "Video Games" was making some waves, that's when I first checked into Lana Del Rey. I liked "Video Games", and I think I listened to the sound samples of "Born to Die" without picking out. She definitely is working the angle of doomed Golden-era Hollywood starlet caught in a black and white film noir world. This is both her strength and weakness. Lana Del Rey seems trapped by her own musical stylings. Her albums have some variation, but not too much. You could put them on random and it would all come close to sounding like one long, six-hour album. have been a Lana fan for years now and I must say I haven’t heard anything from her that was bad. She's usually known for this powerful vocal style, the listener can tell overall that this record is going to get very nostalgic with lyricism about her personal life. not to mention the whole album has a nice americana and folk vibe. Lana Del Rey covers Joni Mitchell's track called for free featuring Zella Day and Weyes Blood, On opener track White Dress, Lana Del Rey uses her powerful serene headiest voice, to recollect a simpler time, when she worked as a waitress in her past life. this album was the pinnacle of all the directions she has gone as Lana Del Rey with a mature pop album sophistication. it is a journey that must be listened to from beginning to end to really appreciate the piece of art. I rate this 10/10.
