Album Review: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - K.G.

Image
K.G. is the sixteenth studio full-length album by Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, it was released on November 20, 2020,  The whole album is an absolute adventure! King Gizzard & the gang have put out yet another classic record. K.G. is an energetic and groovy microtonal  journey with amazing songwriting and nonstop bangers,  they're sixteenth since forming in 2010. In the wake of a global pandemic crisis,  the  quality and the return to a more classic King Gizzard sound, K.G. stand out as more than just another  approach  into a dense discography. this record has a nice mixture of world middle eastern music and psychedelic rock, progressive rock. their enthusiasm  energy took his album to the next level. all the singles so far have been strong, particularly straws in the wind & honey. it's catchy and weird which  seems to be their trademark, I highly recommend this record if you like their early previous work, you might enjoy this

High-Risk Behaviour is the debut full-length album by Australian punk band The Chats, it was released on March 27, 2020,  this new debut album tells a raw  cohesive story about the punk lifestyle, it's  raw, catchy, and not overproduced.  Aussie punk rockers avoid  solemnity  on a  crude  yet  striking  throwback punk record.  T he Chats are a pub-punk shed-rock band from Queensland, Australia.  They began playing together in high school, releasing their debut self-titled EP a month away from graduating in 2016 and  until the band had a viral hit with the music video for their song "Smoko", which racked in millions of views on Youtube in a couple of days, quickly becoming a viral hit and drawing attention.  The Chats have become notorious for their loud and chaotic live shows and their zero aggressive punk attitude. it  adds credence to my belief that musical chunder from down under is a thing of the past, I highly recommend this record who loves punk rock  music, I rate
