Album Review: Yellow Days - A Day in a Yellow Beat

A Day in a Yellow Beat is the second full-length studio sophomore album by British Musician Yellow Days, It was released on September 18, 2020. A raw and soulful listen from beginning to end, A Day In a Yellow Beat is well produced while still maintaining a spacing that many others in this genre fail to consider. Yellow days possesses an amount of soul greater than the distillation of a thousand lives. You hear it in these songs. There's no way this kid has lived long enough or seen enough things to feel these emotions so thoroughly and completely and yet, here we are. Amazingly heartfelt compositions. The best second recording I've ever heard. It assimilates soul, funk, jazz, and various points between quench synths burble leads, horns arrangments & drums, The spirit is groovy, mellow, mostly sanguine, and positive. Also Collaborating with different musicians Mac Demarco, Shirley Jones, Nick Walters & Bishop Nehru. I highly recommend this record who enjoys soulful jazzy rock music, I rate this album 10/10.
